THE LOGLINE

After illegally tampering with her shape and form, a freethinking misgendered young android goes on the run with a hotshot medic to escape deactivation and find asylum in a mythical underground society.

THE MINI-SYNOPSIS

Within the enormous, protective structure known as The Nest, there has never been a case of a Being making unauthorized modifications to their shape or form. This futuristic society lives in manufactured harmony, trusting how they were built and "wired" by The Algorhythm. Though it is rare, sometimes a Being is created with an anomaly in their programming going undetected. Quiet and sceptical, ELLY wakes up from making illegal alterations, knowing she doesn't have much time. Their luminary creator AVES will brand her as an insurgent for re-making herself in her own image. Now, an enemy of the state and an involuntary symbol of rebellion, Elly must flee and seek acceptance in a place known as The South: rumoured to be a haven for outcasts. But she will not be able to make it across the apocalyptic tundra alone. DR. WYTAI, the surgeon responsible for performing the transformation, orders her right-hand EMT MARSH (19), an intelligent neurodivergent Being, to safely escort her. While he may be arrogant, reckless, and generally rough around the edges, his confidence, strength, and medical know-how give them their best chance at survival. Elly and Marsh go on the run, unaware they were literally made for one another and will start a revolution secretly set in motion decades earlier.
